Summary: A minor epic
Comment: This is a book that sets out to challenge the reader - don't got in unless you are willing to go to the end, and many have failed along the way. However this book is wonderful, atmospheric, saturated in detail and a mythology that is all its own. An incredibly clever piece of work, but one that teters on the brink of being too clever for its own good (if you can work out the final puzzle without spending ages on it, you're a genius.
