Summary: I Liked This Book
Comment: I've read several texts that try to be introductions to the field of counseling. This is one of the better ones. This book covers the usual topics one would expect from such a book, but with two specific aspects that I really appreciate.

1. It is balanced in the area of religion. It is not a religious book, but it doesn't downplay the role of religion in American life either.

2. It said a number of things in language that grabbed my attention and made me think. I found myself highlighting several passages.
