Summary: My review of the "bulkpack"
Comment: Hi. I took marketing 101 in 2000 using this case book. In my case book, we read many cases featuring large corporations such as Talbots, Southwest Airlines, and Intel. The cases were not covered much in lecture, but were discussed in depth in the recitation and were relevant to the 2 exams. There is also a presentation on one of the cases (be sure not to come late to that class - I came 5 min. late to my presentation recitation due to a meeting with my senior thesis advisor and my TA had our group go 1st {alphabetically by 1st name} so I couldn't go & received a 65% on the presentation which counted as 20% of the final grade. But back to the topic, in terms of the case book, Prof. Kahn does pick good, well written cases to include that are useful in analyzing true marketing issues for corporations to help increase their sales volume by marketing their products well to consumers in terms of the 4 P's.
