Comment: My work revolves around designing and building data, voice and video network distribution systems. LAN Wiring is a fantastic resource for building copper, fiber, and even wireless data infrastructures!
Not only will LAN Wiring help you today, it offers terrific advice and guidance for including upgrade paths for future growth. Trulove thoroughly covers technology that is currently available, as well as what is anticipated down the road.
One thing I truly appreciate about this book is the detailed information on industry standards supported by diagrams and illustrations. I was especially pleased at the coverage for wireless LAN's, an area I have been greatly involved in lately.
