Summary: One Good Book
Comment: Domenica Santolina Doone's (Dinnie) life is crazy. she moves all the time with her father, Jack, mother, brother, Crick, and sister, Stella. Dinnie's father is always finding a new job, a new opportunityy, then, they are moving again, sometimes half way across the country.
It keeps going on like that until ond day all the sudden she gets "kidnapped" by her aunt and uncle which changes her forever. She's not told where she's goingor what for. they fly away to Switzerland. her uncle is the new headmaster at an American School with people from all over the world. At this School, Dinnie meets all kinds of new adventures and people from different backgrounds and countries.
All she wants to do is escape and get back to her family. once she gets to know all the people and places, she settles down and gets a different perspective on life, and everything in it.
Follow Dinnie in all the adventures of school, friendships, and being away from family, in Bloomability.

If you like books with lots of action you should read Bloomability by Sharon Creech. This book is adventurous because the family in it moves alot. It is also funny,and a little sad which makes it realistic.
Kids and adults would like to read this book. But girls between the grades of 4th through 12th would like it the most expecially if they like adventure.
Bloomability is about a girl named Dominica Stanolia Doone but everybody calls her "Dinnie" for short. Dinnie's family starts out in Kentucky Dinnie's dad is a truck driver that's why they move alot. Her family ends up in New Mexico. Then she goes to school in Switzerland and she makes new friends.
The story takes place in present time all over the U.S.A and Switzerland. Read Bloomability today to find out the rest of Dinnie's life and adventure. I would give this book two thumbs up, and five gold stars.

Summary: I love the name Dinnie
Comment: So far so good! I really enjoy Bloomability, its not to hard, but not to easy. Sharon Creech describes the scenery so well. I can picture being in a little village of Switzerland. I have a picture of the characters in my head and I feel like I am right there. The story keeps moving and there are no dull parts. It was very interesting how Sharon Creech put in Domenica Santolina Doone's dreams at the end of each chapter. I have also read "Walk Two Moons" by Sharon Creech, too. I love it!!! I also love Dinnie's name!!
It is very interesting to my friends and I because we are around the same age as Dinnie. I can relate to her in that way and I have moved 6 times in my life. I know Dinnie as moved a lot more than that, but 6 is still a big number. I also have been to Switzerland, but it was when I was about 6 months old so I cannot remember it that well. She is also different because she
attends a boarding school and I attend a public one. I still really enjoy this book.
I have learned so much from this book. I learned some Italian words here and there, too. I also learned some life lessons, too. They were lessons that you learn eventually through life.
I recomend this book to anyone who liked Sharon Creech's other stories. It is a good book on life and an average person with not a perfect life.
