Comment: After about a month of letters, faxes, and e-mails, Harper Collins finally provided me, the independent student of Latin, with a copy of the answer key to this workbook. Nevertheless, the valuable time spent obtaining the key detracted from the amount of time I have been able to dedicate to my studies, and therefore, I have been unable to progress very far in the book. My advice: this appears to be a decent workbook, and is certainly valuable in its own right because of the amazing qualities of Wheelock's itself, so if you are willing to put up with a little hassle, this book is for you. If your time and nerves are limited, however, look elsewhere.

Well, the Harper customer service people don't always know what they're talking about. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO is email the wheelocks address at harpercollins.com (see editorial notes above, on this page), state your status, and you get the username and password for the online answer key! All independent users and teachers get access with no hassle.

Comment: I called the 800 331-3761 phone # someone else posted here & talked to a Marilyn who insists that the answer key is no longer available. It's been on back order for over 6 months & the publishers are not sure they are going to print another run of it again ... ever! didn't give me an explanation. This book is useless without an answer key ... & especially useless without pronunciation audio tapes ... I'm returning mine for a refund ...
