I just ended a 2 year relationship with a liar. I felt so stupid when I found out he was cheating on me. All this time, I have been making excuses for his bad behavior--due to his childhood abuse and drinking. I am glad to see that I am not alone.
Susan Forward helps you understand the different types of liars and their motivation. The strategies for confronting and setting new bounderies with your man are great. Whether you choose to stay with him or drop him, she can help you through it. Do yourself a favor and get this book!

Summary: Wonderful!! I'm Not Going Crazy!!!
Comment: For months, I've felt as if I was the only person on earth that has had to go through the lies and deceptions of a Sociopath. And, I felt as if I was the one going nuts because of the rage, anger, hurt, and confusion that I felt inside but could not seem to control. This book really helped put my feelings back into perspective and helped me understand that I'm not going crazy and that my feelings are 'NORMAL' for what I've been through. I love the way that it was written in a language towards healing me from my own inner strengths and was not at all a 'man bashing' book. I recommend this book to any woman that has been deceived and is searching for an understanding. It has helped me realize that my world has not ended, but has begun yet again, with a new shade of sunshine to lead me in the right path of love and relationships!!! Only "I" can control "MY" life!

Summary: Wonderful book for help with betrayal
Comment: This book is truly a godsend to anyone dealing with the emotional upheaval of betrayal, whether it's infidelity or any other kinds of betrayal. It gives believable scenarios and concrete examples of what you should do in order to free yourself from the burden of dealing with a habitual liar. As to the gentleman who complained about sexism, the author clearly states at the very beginning that the book is written for women. I hope no one is put off my his ridiculous comments -- this book is a jewel!
