Customer Reviews

Rating: 5
Summary: impressed
Comment: The excersize program presented in this book is far more challenging and rewarding than the cling and jerk of the free weights program.
That said, and the other testimonies of satisfied customers of the excersizes, I would like to emphasize the excellent diet and recipe section. They also take sometime to adjust to, but the results also are rewarding. I will delve into the diet with relish.

Summary: More junk on the fitness pile
Comment: I didn't buy this book, but had the opportunity to peruse it in a bookstore. While the ProBodX system may in fact be useful for some athletes, the assertion that it should be used to the exclusion of other forms of exercise, including weight training, is preposterous. Where's their data? They don't have it. The data supporting weight training as a means of increasing athletic performance is staggering in volume. They claim weight training only works your body in "separate parts." The Nautilus era is over, idiots; have you ever done a power clean? This is just the latest in the long list of fitness BS the American public is being handed. People are quick to jump on the "easy" route, and without fail, the easy route just doesn't have the same return. Do you think Barry Bonds and Mark McGwire would have hit as many home runs as they did in the last decade without weight training? Do you think Ray Lewis and Marshall Faulk would've performed as they have over the last decade without weight training? Pick up a quality exercise book by authors such as Charles Poliquin or Ian King instead of this garbage.

Summary: Thankful
Comment: I read the book and all I can say is if you do the workout, it will do for you exactly what it says it will do. My daughter is physically fit or I should say "well". She never misses school because she is never sick. She is not a big girl with huge muscles. She is lean, quick, and very coordinated. She has been approached by high school volleyball, soccer and track coaches to be in their programs.(Obviously she wont do all that but it is nice to be asked). I can honestly say she loves doing the routine and I know she will continue with it well into her adult life. I am very thankful that I have a healthy daughter and I know ProbodX has helped her get there.
