Summary: Claws
Comment: This book is about a boy named Jed and how his life is so perfect and everything is going right for him. Everything is perfect until he responds to a note from "a friend" left on his car to meet his girlfriend at a local restaurant. After he meet her, everything changed, and he found out one big secret that would change him life and then his life just starts falling apart before his own eyes.
I through it was a really excellent book to read for teenagers and even adults. It was a excellent book because I could relate to the story a great deal because I am a teenager and things like this are happening like this all the time at school and at home. Right when you start reading, you start getting into the action, and you won't want to put the book down. Claws by Will Weaver is a powerhouse of a novel. The plot twists cannot be outguessed and it ends with a heart stopping bang. Wow! This novel has movie written all over it! This book will definitely hold your interest. I highly recommend this book!

Summary: Sometimes You Get Thrown a Curveball
Comment: Not many teenagers have everything in their lives perfect. But Jed Berg does! Every aspect of his life seems to be good. This book shows you how one person's actions can almost totally ruin a person's life.

Jed has never had a real problem to face in his life except when there is a note left on his Dad's Camaro while he is in school. The note basically says, "meet me at the diner, We NEED to talk. It's important." He goes not knowing who is going to be there, when he shows up, there is a girl that he has never seen before. She tells him something that will change his life forever.

After this Jed hits rock bottom And there is nothing really anybody can do to help him.

Jed Berg is really having a tough time here but sometimes in life you get thrown a curveball and you just have to learn how to deal with rotten situations.

I really enjoyed this book and it is good for both girls and boys in junior or high school. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a good, realistic, fiction book.

Summary: Excellent Story
Comment: Will Weaver is an excellent story teller. Claws is wonderfully crafted with details, emotion, and heartfelt turmoil. Wonderful imagery of Northern Minnesota. I read it in three hours non-stop. The ending has an unexpected twist, which grabs the reader the same way the first three pages of Striking out does. Must Read!
