Comment: Do you have problems of people not picking you at a baseball game? Well Donald does. He doesn't have any friends and no one likes him, but he doesn't care. Nothing bothers him. People call him Zinkoff, because it's his last name. He's funny, nice, and brave. The book is about him doing different things like finding a best friend, trying to save a little girl, and spending time with his father. My favorite part in the book is when Zinkoff tries to save a girl named Claudia. This shows how loyal and brave he was. So if this book sounds good to you buy it or get it out of a library and read it!

Comment: Did you ever hear of any one named Zinkoff? Well you will after reading loser by Jerry Spinelli. This book is about a kid named Donald Zinkoff. Zinkoff experiences a lot of things from Saterfield Elementary School to sixth grade at Monroe Middle school. He goes through field day. On field day know body wants Zinkoff on their team. Claudia a girl down the street named Claudia goes missing and Zinkoff goes looking for her in the snow for seven hours. That is just a couple of the things does in this book. I like this book because you travel with Zinkoff from first grade to sixth grade. If you are looking for a good book to read check out Loser by Jerry Spinelli.

Comment: The book Loser is a masterpiece through a young reader's eyes. It's about a boy named Donald Zinkoff and how he survives being a loser from Kindergarten to sixth grade and as he learns someday a loser can be a hero.
My rating for this book is four stars. Four stars since this book was pretty short but had a great plot.
Loser shows any smart, popular, or athletic person the life of a loser through a loser's eyes. Jerry Spinelli's magnificent novel is difficult to put down. Loser is definitely a book to read.
