Comment: This is a great book - the best I've ever read on the subject! And I should know, because I had to take this subject twice. Thankfully, I was able to pass it in summer school. Oh Wait - that was college algebra. Forget what I just said. I did, though, proof-read it (the English part - not the math part). I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has trouble deriving and understanding calculus. Although the book was written a few years ago, the math is still the same, so don't worry about having to buy a newer book. And, whatever price they're charging is a bargain. So, I would rush out and buy a copy or two (maybe someone you know is having a birthday soon). This also makes a great coffee-table book and you can impress your friends with this tome (there are some great-looking graphs and stuff inside). Again, I strongly recommend this math book for all of the above-noted reasons.
