Summary: Good but some of pictures are tough to discern
Comment: Having taught Comparative Anatomy Lab with this book I would not recommend it to someone who is going through dissection for the first time and alone. A good sense of terms (ie. medial, caudal etc)and such is a must. Even having gone through dissections of hundreds of cats some things are still difficult to find. However I like how it ties things together and shows step wise evolution of vertebrates from lampreys to cats.
