Comment: The Microfinance Distance Learning Course by Heather Clark is a very good compendium of the basics of microfinance. I think it is great in terms of accurateness, clarity and usefulness and it is a useful instrument for people interested in microfinance best practices, at all levels.
The most interesting feature of the course, in my opinion, is that everyone can take the course on a stand-alone basis without a tutor: the student book includes practice questions and model solutions that have been developed through a pilot test involving people from all over the world.
