Comment: This is an excellent introductory book to PET imaging in oncology. It is well organized with an introduction to the technology, followed by a review of applications according to tumor type. The references are adequate. The examples are limited in quanity and quality, but this does not significantly detract from this concise book which should be read cover to cover over a weekend or while waiting for you plane in the airport. Supplementing this book with a current "Atlas" of PET images will enhance the learning experience...
