Comment: THIS BOOK IS IN SWISS GERMAN! "La Mort de Chevrolet" is a gay, erotic, violent novel about a stormy love affair between an under-age boy and a young fair ground employee. The story is told in graphic detail and shows the literary possibilities of Swiss-German as spoken by boys and young men. Though it was just the second gay book published in Swiss-German, it was awarded a large cash price by the state government and it's printing subsidized by Switzerland's largest newspaper. The press hailed it as a "cornerstone" of Swiss-German literature. Alas, it is difficult to read!
