Comment: Although Zuckermann's postscript about how the book came about actually held my interest more than did the book itself, this is an amusing critique of modern consumerism. If you're able to look past the obviousness of the references (part of the joy of reading the original Alice, for me, is in how obscure Carroll's references are -- often to the point of being completely undecipherable) and occasional lapse in copyediting, you'll enjoy the couple of hours it takes to read this short book.
