Summary: Part "self-help", part chick lit, part sexy.
Comment: Heartbreaker is about a girl who's a professional heartbreaker. I loved the way the author broke down the ways to be a heartbreaker, spoofing self help. It's also a story about a girl who was heartbroken but, of course, meets a guy and now wants to get over it. I have to say it's one of the sexier books I've read like this. Not overt, but it definitely has some scenes in it that, well, are very sexy.
I'd recommend it to just about anyone for a fun filled beach/plane ride read. It will keep you interested and hooked.

Summary: Funny, smart and sexy.
Comment: Heartbreaker was one of the best books I've read in a while. I loved the character, Tina, and all of her antics for putting men in their place, which was, apparently, the doghouse! It was just a really good read and I enjoyed it very much.

Summary: Good idea, predictable ending
Comment: I really liked the book but I kept trying to figure out if the book was horribly edited or if Ms. Corum wanted her characters to sound like dumb hicks. I hate translating hick/slang into English. The cat fight scene was unrealistic. Only people on Jerry Springer fight like that, not REAL friends! Other than that I loved the idea that a girl could actually make a living getting even and breaking guys hearts. Some of her suggestions made men seem a little dumber than they really are but then you realize how true it is and how easy they are! Smart idea but predictable end as you know she'll "snap out of it" and fall in love!
