Summary: I Don't Remember, I Don't Recall
Comment: It's pretty amazing to read this book of the Ramseys' police interviews and see how much Patsy Ramsey cannot recall or remember. Then read the Ramsey's book "Death of Innocence" where tiny little details are spelled out.

This book is pretty incriminating. If one was not sure of the Ramseys guilt before reading this book, (like me), reading it may surely put you over the fence.

It's sickening how hypocritical these people were-- when comparing this to their book. And how little they helped the police. No wonder the crime is unsolved.

Summary: Soft Ball Interviews with Kid Gloves
Comment: It's pretty obvious after reading this book that the Ramsey's were treated very differently than most parents of a murdered child.

Their attorney proclaimed on tv how hard ball these interviews were, how the cops accused them. I did not see that at all. They treated these people with kid gloves, and only asked a few times if they were involved. The clips that were shown on tv were these very few times. But the rest of the interviews consisted of an attempt to gain information about their habits and what happened the days leading up to the murder, so that law enforcement could solve the murder. I thought the cops were more than cordial to them. Patsy comes off being very hostile, phony and stupid.

They also tried to call the shots as to how and when they were interviewed. It took 4 months for them to have the first interview. Very telling.

After I read this book, I reread the Ramsey's book. It's amazing how Mrs. Ramsey recalled item after item of insignificant details about other events in her own book, but when interviewed by the people trying to solve the murder of their daughter she can't recall a thing.

I am glad that the National Enquirer produced this book. It's been documented that a friend sold these tapes for $40,000 to the Enquirer. My question is why would these people even have access to what should have been confidential information in an open murder case. What's sad is the case will never be solved, information like this, although interesting, helps the killer. The Ramseys and their friends should not be revealing information like this if they truly want the case solved. Just shows me that they don't.

Summary: Lots of Info, No New Evidence
Comment: After reading this superbly written book, I am still no closer to MY own conclusion. Excellent word by word account from the investigators & the Ramseys, but still leaves a lot of unanswered questions. I do not like, however, how Mrs. Ramsey is blamed at the end of the book due to her handwriting analysis.
