Comment: God AND man -- that is one of the things that draws me to the Christ. He lived in and through situations just like ours, yet did the right thing everytime, something we try to do but come short.

Kemp's story works on us little by little, opening our eyes and softening our hearts, just like Jeshua works on Eli, just as God works on us.

This is a beautiful, tender story, which closes the gap between Jesus' teachings and our lives, and between us and Jesus. We see Jesus in a situation like ours, making it easier to see opportunities to live His teachings in our lives.
