Rating: 5
Summary: another great microcosum publication
Comment: an exalent read for beginers! covers many important aspects of reef keeping in understandable languege.
however, there are a couple problems. 1st, since its such a recent publication it has some confusing types and errors. they arnt terrible but i can see them confusing some beginers. 2nd, they have a couple places where they say somthing like "this is an important topic but its beyond this book to explain".
still, its a great starting place for beginier marine aquarists.
Rating: 5
Summary: Best marine aquarium book ever
Comment: This book is great, it is not only a book packed with usful infomation for anyone beginer or advanced, it has a lot of info on what equiptement you need and tells you why you need it. It also is just a great book on hand. I would reccomend it to everyone
Rating: 5
Summary: Great way to select animals for your aquarium
Comment: The best part of this book is the stocking guide section. It describes many, many common fishes & inverts that are found in the aquaria trade in great detail. Makes stocking a tank very easy.
They're very environmentally aware without being preachy about it. For instance, they will point out which fishes should be tank bred and why.
Beautiful photography!
