Summary: Wonderful planner for my wedding
Comment: I used this wedding planner for my wedding. I found it to be well organized with check lists to remind me of all the things I needed to do before my wedding. I really liked the pocket dividers for stashing reciepts, brochures and various keepsakes. There is a place for business cards too. This book is BIG! It will not fit in your purse, but that's what I liked about it. I did check out several other wedding planning books, but this one beat them all. The photographs are beautiful and an inspiration in themselves. I would recommend this planner for any couple planning a wedding.

Summary: A real planning tool, finally!
Comment: I looked through a lot of other planners while trying to find one that I liked. For the most part they were too brief. For example, if you're going to go to more than one store to look at wedding invitations, wouldn't it be nice to have some place in your planner to write details of each store down? Most planners tend to have room for just one store - your final pick. That's not the case with this planner. Each item (stationery, reception location, caterers) has a handy comparison chart that gives you a place to write down some basics about each one. There's also a neat section on flowers featuring pictures of each flower so you'll understand what your florist is talking about. In addition, the divider for each section features a pocket on each side, a great place to keep all those receipts and contracts you end up with. To top it all off, at the end of the planner, there are three business card holder pages.
There are a few drawbacks to this book. First, it is really large. It's about the size of an oversized three ring binder. If you want something to just throw in your purse when you go to interview vendors, this won't work. Second, it features a lot of pictures. Now, this is handy for the flower section, but 20 pictures of different cake styles isn't really something you need in a planner.
Overall, I recommend this planner if you're going to be doing comparison shopping and if you are detail oriented. It really is the best one that I've seen so far.

Summary: Great Content!
Comment: I bought this before I saw the Ultimate Wedding Planner (same authors). I thought the format for the Ultimate Planner was much better (ring binder rather than spiral bound) so in order to compare the two I also bought the Ultimate Planner.
I was disappointed that the Ultimate Planner did not have anything like the same amount of content as the Easy Planner & Keepsake, so I returned it. But as the Ultimate Planner format was so good, I removed the pages from my Easy Planner, trimmed and punched them and put them in a binder of my own.
The content of the Easy Planner is superb, and I would recommend it to anyone. I would also suggest doing what I did and putting it in a ringbinder - it takes some time but it is worth it! Then it is much easier to add all the notes and paperwork which is accumulated during the organizing of a wedding, especially as the pockets/subject separators are nice but not nearly large enough.
But overall an excellent planner. It would be wonderful if the authors could put this planner in the ringbound format for the next edition!
