Summary: A lot of help
Comment: I expect to graduate in May of this year and want to teach high school history. I have no professional experience in the teaching field, so I had no idea how to prepare a resume that would highlight my qualifications and experience that I gained from the office jobs I've held over the last 9 years. This books has several examples of resumes and cover letters from people just like myself. It has given me a lot of ideas.

Summary: Fraudulent Reviews?
Comment: I AM Chris Guin, and I can assure you that I did not provide the "editorial review" listed on this site. I am a former employee of Ms. McKinney, and while I enjoyed my time at PREP and feel that, in general, their resume and career books are of reasonably fair quality, not only do I resent their use of my name on a review that I never wrote, but I have to wonder -- in light of this fraudulent behavior -- how many of the other "reviews" of PREP's titles are equally fraudulent. Doesn't Amazon put ANY effort into verifying the content that is posted on this site?

Summary: Awesome resource!
Comment: This book is ESSENTIAL for anyone applying to grad school, for fellowships, government teaching jobs, elementary, middleschool, high school, college, and counseling positions--just to list a few! The essential cover letter and curriculum vitae is in there too--no need to buy another book! There is too much inside the covers to go over but suffice it to say I created an awesome resume and cover letter using the examples as guides. You can't go wrong with this one!
