Summary: still dumbed down for the masses
Comment: I think this is an improvement on the STATS Pro Football Scoreboard series, but it still is lacking. STATS used to produce the Pro Football Revealed book, which was basically like this, but 5 times better. It contained more information, more intelligent analysis instead of "here is a trend, isn't it interesting!" type comment that often serves as trivia rather than enhancing your football knowledge, and this leaves me feeling that this book is just not as good as I know it could be.

They have more stats here than you'll know what to do with, so it'll impress stats freaks, but people looking for that annual that'll do for football what Baseball Prospectus and Big Bad Baseball Annual did for baseball are going to be mildly disappointed.

Still, a step back in the right direction for STATS. Start the campaign for the return of intelligent football comment and the return of the 'Pro Football Revealed' series!!
