Comment: The International Directory of Military Aircraft is the best single-source reference for military aviation. I am looking forward to the March release of the 00/01 edition. I do not have the Civil Directory, but I am sure that it is good as well. I also have the 98/99 edition, which is very good. I hope every aviation buff owns a copy of this wonderful book.

Comment: The International Directory of Military Aircraft is a great book.I really like to study military aircraft and this is a good resource book.All the planes in it have awesome pictures.It tells you all the details you need to know about almost any type of plane you can think of. If I am trying to find who makes a jet to the weight and dimensions of one this is the book I reach for.Recently I ordered the latest version.I would have to say out of all of my military aircraft books this would be the best one. So if you just like neat pictures of planes or if you really go nuts over them like me then you will love this book.It is a great book just to have around the house to look up something every once and a while or to study in your free time.
