Comment: there were quite a few factual errors which defeated the purpose of my buying this book. it was too simplistic and slightly biased/written from a western point of view and not a academic study. author needs to look much more in detail to the Ottoman forces in the Balkans, Middle East and North Africa which showed quite many differentiating points as well as similiar.
