Summary: The Worst Book I've Ever Read
Comment: This book started out good, but later on it becomes boring and unrealistic in everything except the emotions.
I bought this book thinking it would be an interesting read but I was severly disapointed.
The plot skips around a lot and the main character goes through some "interesting" fazes. (Kicking her husband out for not agreeing about cloneing, etc.)
I would never recomend this book to ANYONE (strangers and enemies included).
Rating: 5
Summary: thought provoking
Comment: Angela Elwell Hunt effectively captures the emotions of each family member involved in this story that deals with the current controversial subject of cloning. Extremely well written. You won't be able to put it down. Fantastic!
Rating: 5
Summary: Absolutely riveting!
Comment: I wasn't sure if Angela Hunt could ever top THE NOTE, but she's done it with THE PEARL. Hunt took a Twilight Zone-like storyline (involving cloning) and made it seem the most plausible scenario in the world. Incredibly well-written, a wonderful study of human nature and an ending full of hope.
