Summary: A book Re-considered
Comment: Initially, upon reading this book one is struck by the sparseness of content and sense of vagueness; compared to non-photography books this can prove disappointing.

However, compared to other books in this area, it is actually quite a wonderful book. Photography books, particularly those published by Amherst Media, tend to be sparse in content and there are far worse books one could purchase on Portrait Photography.

Sparseness is actually brevity in the case of this book. An excellent book for the portrait photographer.

Comment: Bill has created a wonderful tool to help photographers simply do better work. His insight and writing skills show through as he leads the reader through the techniques used by most working pros today. Great job and very informative....
