Summary: A great nutrition resource
Comment: I got this book as a xmas present and read it non-stop the next day. After my second child, I gained over 30 pounds and haven't been able to keep the weight off. I have followed many diets since and never had good success (I lost a lot of weight on Atkins but ended up gaining it all back and then some :( ) After finishing reading the LGN Diet, I finally feel like I have a handle on what I've been doing wrong. There is so much good information here that I never understood before. There is a good amount of scientific theory in the beginning but it is put into words that I could follow and it really made me understand how my body works and why certain foods do certain things in your body. What I really like is that the author gives a complete diet plan by body type and then has a 7 day sample menu that shows you exactly how to make it work. I have just started the program and find it easy to follow. Wish me luck!
