Summary: Beautiful pictures...little text...
Comment: This book is exactly what it was advertised to be: lovely pictures of amazing quilts. I was disappointed, however, to have so little text discussion of the quilts. I enjoyed the description of the judging process, but would have liked to have seen descriptions of how the quilts were made. Each quilt picture included a brief comment by the artist regarding the inspiration for the quilt, as well as very basic information on materials and quilting. If you want a picture book, it's wonderful, but don't expect anything more. I bought "Wild By Design" at the same time, and to me it was a model for what this type of book should be: wonderful pictures, each accompanied by a full page of commentary by several quilt experts.
