Summary: The best book for any nonlinear editor!
Comment: Mr. Harrington does a wonderful job of explaining how you can utilize photoshop to the max for video. It is amazing how much you will learn from this book. The pages are full of small tutorials, full color examples, and plenty of great educational content. The book also comes with a DVD which is full of other goodies (ie. around 20 more tutorials Richard gathered from various sources that are extremely useful). Don't hesitate at all if you are thinking of buying this book; get it now.

Summary: The only book written for video editors by a video editor
Comment: There have been a few attacks on this book, which seems weird. This book was written for video editors and motion graphic artists by an editor. It just addresses how to use Photoshop as a broadcast tool and how to do so quickly. The book has a wealth of content, a DVD with lots of great stuff including training videos. It's a solid book that has helped many people. Be sure to read several reviews when making up your mind.

Summary: Bad Samples Nothing New
Comment: There is no professional level work in this book, and I did not find any useful content. No broadcast issues are covered and most of the book covers issues found in Photoshop Elements.
