Summary: More of a lot of the same stuff...
Comment: ...some good, some redundant, but still with a good message. Much of the first half of this book was a re-hash of the CWG trilogy. I still believe Neale continues to have a good, down home, deep souled conversation with his inner self and found much truth to dispense to us. Neale has a message, and he is trying to share what he has found out about the universe and how it cosmically affects each and everyone of us and our Great Mother Earth.

Good reading, some new concepts, include more guidelines (not rules or commandments) to forge a (easy) friendship with God. This time, Neale imparts some personal examples of occurrences to support his suppositions, which helps the reader to understand where he is coming from. Its a feel-good book. This maybe about where I personally disembark from Neale Walsch's bandwagon, because its important, as Neale will tell us in this book, to find yourself and be your own reality, instead of what other people or organizations tell you.

Summary: Thank You God and Neale
Comment: Once again, God and Neale Donald Walsch, explain to us what this life is all about. There is so much comfort in knowing that it is truly simple and that we have complicated our lives with so many untrue beliefs. Anyone who is truly searching for the answer to mysteries, must read all of these books (Conversations With God, 1,2 & 3, and this book) in order. Then re-read them, for you will gain more insight each time they are read. Many will dismiss the entire premise of these books, but keep an open mind and believe that God does speak softly to most of us, but loudly and clearly to others. Neale is one of those who God "had" to be pretty plain with and I'm certain he is eternally grateful! So am I!

Summary: The best of the Conversations With God series.
Comment: Fantastic! Having read all of the extraordinary international best-selling Conversations With God books several times over, Friendship With God remains my favourite. The majority of the content is a reiteration of the first three books of the series, but as the title suggests, the tone here is more informal. This is, literally, how to have a friendship with God.

Most of the book is in dialogue form. However, Neale Donald Walsch shares considerably more of his background and life history than in other books in the series. I found this added to my already profound appreciation of all the CWG books. Not surprisingly, Mr. Walsch has had a very, very wide range of life experiences, including working with the dying with Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, involvements with radio, television, advertising and a period of time spent virtually living on the streets.

The last few chapters are particularly well written and build up to an enlightening climax that is well worth repeated reading. In Friendship With God, Walsch has continued his mission to "give people back to themselves" superbly. The New Gospel of "WE ARE ALL ONE. OURS IS NOT A BETTER WAY, OURS IS MERELY ANOTHER WAY" is yet another example of the deceptively simple, powerful, revolutionary truths presented in all the Conversations With God books.
