Since he was instrumental in establishing the first players' association, he is no stranger to the struggle for such things as free agency.

Those of us fortunate enough to know Ralph Kiner well enough to call him a friend, can testify that he is one of today's outstanding conversationalists who speaks the sort of truth that can come only from real-world experience.
