Summary: Great for beginers, not for deeper issues though..
Comment: My boss told me to "set up an NT server", I had worked with NT before, but never set one server up by myself. It is great for beginers and covers most of the first things you need to know. But when you covered the basics and go back for a reference a coupple of months later you will not find the depth you like. When i wanted to know how comressing a drive would affect the over all preformance it simply says:"We don't see the point of a server using compression with the price of a harddisk today". And that is not the kind of anwser i was looking for. so if you are a newbe, go ahead, if you wanta reference book, look for something else. But it is still a very good book.

Comment: The book is an introductory text to Windows NT written in simple and engaging style. It introduces the basics, hardly deep enough to really run an NT server. Hence the low rating. It will not make NT system administrator of you. If you aspire to be one, Inside Windows NT Server is a book to read.
