Summary: Mexico Enchantment of the World
Comment: As a fifth grade teacher in N.Y.S, the curriculum requires me to teach contemporary Mexico. I bought this book to use a resource, and found myself constantly reaching for it. Your attention is captured from the first page with the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and is held throughout! The photographs are bright and colorful with beautiful examples of native artwork, the people, festivals and the land. Everything I needed to teach was covered: the culture, economy, government and geography. There is even a resource page for you to use to get more information about Mexico. This is a colorful well written book, and my fifth graders all wished they had their own copy!

Update - I was a bit surprised to see this review under my name. Although I'm sure it's a wonderful book, the review was written by another who shares my computer. As the review seems to have helped others and "with" the authors permission, I'll let the review stand.
