Comment: I've been thinking about getting a dog so after reading a few reviews about this book, I decided to get it. I've read a few books by Dr. Bruce Fogle and they're all been pretty helpful, except this one. I've never owned a dog but I found the information in this book to be fairly common knowledge. I'd think that most people would know when a dog is angry and when it's happy. This is not a training or breed specific book, but it will teach you the meaning of every doggy mood and action.

Comment: This book is very good the pictures are great and for someone that would like to know a little more about dog body language this would be a great book to have. or if you don't understand your dogs behaviour with other dogs this book may help you.

Summary: Learn A New Language
Comment: If you want to understand more about your dog and the way it communicates through body language than this is the excellent book. It is hard to find a book with such excellent photographys. Even though this book does not go into detail to explain how dogs communicate, but does give plenty examples of different behaviours, such as aggression, seeking attention, mating and so on. For first time dog owners, it will allow you to look at your dog differently and those that have had dogs, this book will answer questions of why your dog does the things it does.
