Summary: Gerina Dunwich has written a classic herbal book!
Comment: HERBAL MAGICK is both literate and entertaining reading. Well written, the book is an invaluable reference & resource on herbs, and related items. Dunwich's magickal memories of her late Grandma Rose is interesting autobiographical writing which gives insights into the importance of herbal living. Of all the many books I have read over the past 20 years concerning the magickal use of herbs, Gerina Dunwich's book is the most accurate and up to date book I have seen published in 2002. This book is packed-full of useful information for all types of people curious about the world of herbs. The folklore information in this book alone makes it unique, and a great reference to have on hand. Chapter 13 concerning gods and goddesses is detailed and accurate information that will come in handy for many a season! Chapter 1 concerns pagan herb lore. Every chapter is filled with useful information. There are numerous spells in this book, and each one serves a different need. If you are new to herbal studies or new to the writings of Gerina Dunwich, this book is the place to start. You can't go wrong with this book because it is honest, accurate, well-researched, and enjoyable reading. The chapters on healing by root and flower, and herbs of the ancient sorcerers, are among the finest written on the subject matter. Gerina's finest book to date! Excellent. I wish her continued success. Reviewed by LEE PROSSER, author of ISHERWOOD, BOWLES, VEDANTA, WICCA, AND ME.
