Summary: A book that's not usable.
Comment: List table format in 27 topics, as previous reader mentioned, it's like an encyclopedia. The author tried to include everything. There is no index. To find the information, you have to decide which chapter to go to (hopefully, you are right) and then find the specific item you are looking for and end up with a useless long list of disease or pathology names. For example, under peudoepitheliomatous hyperplasia which is in Dermatopathology signs and their diseases, it lists irregular proliferation of epidermis into dermis; atypical mycobacteria; atypical bibroxanthoma,...ulcers (chronic) (a total of over 50 conditions).
I don't know how I could ever be able make any use of this book.

Summary: An excellent text
Comment: This small but comprehensive book is the ultimate in lists. Virtually every minute detail required for a complete presentation of a differential diagnosis or board preparation is here. All the named syndromes are listed and there is an excellent compilation of information about medications, their side effects, uses and interactions. This book is encyclopedic and well worth owning.
