Summary: Better than its title.
Comment: I was a little put off by the title of the book, but after reading some excerpts in the book store, bought it and read it in a couple nights. Basically, it's a quick read - nothing scholarly, and the author admits to his obvious bias against Bush. I was a little put off by the constant reference to this administration as "the Bushies" but, whatever. It also cites obviously liberal sources, that to me undermine its credibility needlessly. However, it also cites some Republican criticism of the administration.

Having said that, the book's biggest asset is how it's organized - like a dictionary A to Z, so it's a "quick reference" - albeit biased, into this administration's policies. Much of the book is a re-hash but it really covers
more ground than many other titles about the administration, so I can't say I didn't receive at least a cursory education on some of the less publicised atrocities of this administration.

Allow me to digress here for a moment - you're probably here on this page on Amazon because you are shocked and awed that Bush is president and are concerned - as well you should be, for the future if he is elected to a second term. Two points - first, VOTE on election day. Secondly, the opposition to Bush will simply not be able to match Bush's war chest, which is at 200 million already. This book cites that elections are won 80% of the time by the candidates with the most money. I have heard similar stat, and it's how this "dangerous clown" got elected in the first place. Not only should you vote for (probably) Kerry, but you should contribute whatever you can to their effort. (Note - I am not affiliated with the Kerry or any Democrat campaign). Point is, it's not enough just to vote on this one. Bush has ample funds and will run a dirty campaign. Consider it an important investment in your (and your children's) future. Remember - 80% of the time the candidates with the most money wins.

Back to the book - good primer, easy read, biased but not a partisan screed. Covers familiar territory but may educate you on other less publicised horrors of the Bush administration.

Summary: Handy Reference Work
Comment: A morbidly fascinating examination of the Bush Administration's many outrageous atrocities to date, THE BUSH-HATER'S HANDBOOK is a worthy, quick-read reference book filled with a surplus of well researched and detailed information about our most atrocious President ever. Jack Huberman has provided quite a handy source of facts and figures for anyone caught in the middle of an argument with a deluded Bush apologist. While it is far from the best of its kind - THE BOOK ON BUSH by Eric Alterman and Mark Green and BUSHWHACKED by Molly Ivins quickly come to mind as far superior and much more enlightening works - THE BUSH-HATER'S HANDBOOK is an acceptable starting point for anyone who has only recently been able to see through the conservative-controlled media's deliberate misinformation about (and continual protection of) our infuriatingly incompetent "leader."

Summary: Very Good
Comment: While there are better "reads" out there, like "The Price of Loyalty", if there is one book that you should buy to get a bird's eye view of the damage this adminstration is causing, it's this one. The reason is that it is concise and has a broader scope than the others I have read. It's almost like a pocket reference. On a side note - I really have to hand it to the Republican supporters of this president for their loyalty. This administration has been so remarkably, incredibly, deceitful and awful, if I was a Republican I would tell people otherwise, let alone defend Bush or vote for him. But - I digress.
