Summary: "LIBERALLY LACED WITH SEX AND SIN"
Comment: "LIBERALLY LACED WITH SEX AND SIN, this novel takes us into the world of Hollywood, where being open and gay can destroy an actor's career-but being closeted and gay can destroy his heart. The author takes us behind the scenes of Hollywood sets, Hollywood homes, and Hollywood sex with an insider's authority and knowledge. And just as in real life, Michael Craig deftly shows us that coming out of the closet can have its price."

Summary: "FAST-PACED AND EASY TO READ"
Comment: "FAST-PACED AND EASY TO READ, The Ice Sculptures reconstitutes the world in which movie studios covered up for the indiscretions of stars. It provides an escape from the tell-all celebrity world of today to a Jacqueline Susann-like world of dark secrets and designer labels-but with twenty-first century sex."

Summary: Valley of the Gays
Comment: Finally! Someone has the courage to write a gay version of Jacqueline Susann's way-camp classic Valley of the Dolls! The Ice Sculptures: A Novel of Hollywood is a breezy, name-dropping, sex-filled soon-to-be-cult classic featuring closeted gay superstar actor Timothy Race and his rise to fame. Not above using the proverbial casting couch, the novel follows Tim from his humble Texas oil-field roots through his rise to superstardom in Tinseltown. Always by his side are close friends Raina Hawthorne, who is totally obsessed with Tim, his agent/boyfriend David and old-bitty Ruth Borstein, also an agent. Through fourteen sex and drama-filled years, The Ice Sculptures chronicles Tim's life, and what a life it is! There's lots of globe-trotting, scenery-chewing, back-stabbing and pill popping. Then Tim meets Jaime, a young, beautiful illegal immigrant/prostitute amidst the scenic surroundings of San Diego's Balboa Park while on the lam from a drug treatment clinic. Lust (and love) follows suit, but what impact will this relationship have on Tim's storybook Hollywood career? You'll have loads of fun with the Guess Which Superstar I'm Talking About game while gobbling up this confectionery of a roman a clef. Ol' Jackie Susann would have been proud. And the five-hankee conclusion will leave you breathless. What a rush!
