Comment: This was the first Jack Higgins book that I've read, and likely not my last. This book was easy to read and the action was consistent throughout.

I do think Higgins could have done more to develop his characters. I don't feel that I really got to know the book's most exciting character, Harry Martineau.

Comment: Calling all men! Calling all men! Looking for a decent beach book? One that's action-packed and swift-moving? Entertaining to read, and won't put a hurt on your brain? Put down that Clancy and Ludlum garbage and pick up "Night of the Fox".

Nobody can do WWII like the dependable Mr. Higgins. He is capable of breathing life into a seemingly tired genre. True, it ain't Shakespeare, but it's good, clean fun. Note to author: Please, Mr. Higgins, retire Sean Dillon and the Rasheeds already.

Hey you on the next beach blanket, whose wife is making you read Nicholas Sparks! For shame! You need some more sunscreen, and you need some Higgins!
