Summary: One of the best Intern/Resident medical handbooks
Comment: This is a wonderful book. It is written in a conversational, very readable format, yet is succinct with its information. I have looked at/own most of the big name handbooks (Wash man, Ferri's, On call series) and I think I like this one the best. It does not pack as much info as wash. man. or Ferri's but it is much easier to read and I dare say you would remember more information because of this. It was written by IM residents for residents and I have an easier time relating to the authors and thus the information because of this.

It is also available in Palm format ...
Exact same as the book, minus a very few pictures.

Summary: Excellent for Interns/Med Students
Comment: This book is exactly what I needed, but didn't have, all of my last year as an intern. It cuts to the point and is pretty comprehensive. Much better organized than the Washington Manual for floor & ICU medicine.
