Summary: Fascinating Look at Angels
Comment: I have always felt there were angels among we "earth-dwellers" and this book among countless others already written would prove this. Sylvia describes the various "levels" of angels, pointing out that no "group" is really "better" than any other, just that each level has their own purpose. Sylvia also includes letters she has received from people describing their "angel experiences." After reading them, I now realize more than ever that indeed I also have had a handful of these experiences. The book's first chapter even features an "Angel Chart" describing each type of angel. Subsequent chapters describe the different types of angels, and there's even a "frequently asked questions" chapter near the book's end. Another nice touch are the meditations at the end of each chapter, everything from healing, protection, dealing with troubled times to asking angels to surround you.
There are those who don't believe in angels, which is fine. But when you see angels of some kind or another in all walks of life, you have to believe that somehow they are with us. This book affirms that angels are among us.

Comment: In this book you find out about different phymlums of angels and the different roles they play in our everyday life.It is a kind of book that pulls you into it you dont even have to believe in angels and you are still pulled into the book. The book tells you about the characterisitcs of each angel phylum and where theyre stand point is based on the level each angel type is based on what kinds of powers they have. Sylvia Brownes Book of Angels will definetly leave you spell bound and leave you with a sense of knowledge about the unknown.

Summary: Sylvia writes from a very narrow viewpoint -
Comment: showing a lack of extensive knowledge of the spiritual world. I was expecting to read something that would add to my knowledge but was very disappointed. Her strictly religious viewpoint causes her to see things as fitting into her already learned beliefs, thereby missing much of the 'bigger picture'. The angel stories were nice - much like those in any other publication about angels.
I'm sorry I bought it and won't be buying any more of her books. Would that she were as enlightened as she thinks she is.
