Comment: Not very long ago, I was NOT a superstar in the music business. Then I read this book. Now, I am still not a superstar, but I am out twelve bucks! GET THIS BOOK, DAWG!!!

Summary: THE BARK IS BIGGER THAN THE BITE
Comment: I have tremendous respect for Randy Jackson. I've met him and he's one of the most genuine guys you could ever talk to in the music business. He's affable, smart, and an unlikely author.

His book will appeal to, and have the greatest use by teenagers. It's simple, conversational tone will appeal to music artists in general who like easy to read material.

Of particular interest (and what I felt are the highlights of the book) are the interviews that Randy conducts with American Idol winner, Ruben Studdard and various top notch industry professionals.

This book is NOT about becoming a superstar; so don't expect to have a road map to superstardom after you read this book, but you will have a much greater appreciation of the depth and experience of Randy Jackson.

Comment: This book was great!!! I read other books about the music biz but they arent as good as this one!! I read this in a day and a half. This book is fun and tells you exactly what you need to do to become a star. Randy gives great advice, lots of insider info and lays out everything you need to do to make it. (But it will take a lot of work!!) If you want to become a SUPERSTAR, read this book!!!
