Summary: Head and shoulders above the rest
Comment: These guys' books are by far the best out there. Other books are about using cheesy pickup lines, or sleezy methods to approach women. This book focuses on what women want. It's great - they take you step-by-step through where women want to meet guys, how to appraoch women, how to strike-up a conversation, how to ask for her #, how to ask her out, what to do on a date. Everything you need to know, in a very easy-to-read (& enjoyable!) format.

I also ordered their sequels with this book - The Nice Guys' Guide to Getting Girls. I've read volume 1, & it's just as good as this book. It goes into more details on certain things, like online dating and how to approach women in the always-tough bar environment. I just ordered Volume 2 of The Nice Guys' Guide to Getting Girls & can't wait to start reading that!

Thanks guys, for a great series of books, that stand head and shoulders above the other books in this category.

Summary: More-or-Less
Comment: There are many good points, good & practical examples, reasonable practical conclusions, and even some theoretical elaborations. However, I feel that, it might not be easy for a person with every-day Western moral and ethical standard to see or learn beyond the superficial; since it's so entangled.

The upside is that this book provides explicit instructions to help one change one's personality to be more social, approachable and interesting. However, I do agree with another reviewer that it (or, at least it's portrayal) is pretty shallow and wish it was more serious.

The book provides many examples to strength it's case, which I think is very good and necessary. However, unless I just fell from the Moon, many discussions are very superficial. ...P>With respect to meeting people likelihood list, as simple as it looks, most of it makes sense. The gradation of guys seems to make sense too. Although, in both cases, this is an oversimplification for the every-day. One must remmeber that things are NOT always SIMPLE!

Last, to leave a good comment about the book, I give credit to the women abuse statistics session (altough the title of the book is VERY inconsistent with that context and tone). Finally, I do agree that:

Men should STOP thinking of women as SEX objects!

Summary: They got me, don't let them get you.
Comment: I wouldn't be supprised if this book was actually writing by two women, because I can't see a "real man" writing some of this stuff. I know Compliments, Compassion, and Reassurance are all important to women and can help a lot, but they are over blown in this book, and very little is given here that will allow a women to respect you and find you sexually attractive. Only about 20%-35% of the information is useful, but only if you have the wits to use it right, otherwise, there is a good chance you might make a fool of yourself. Over priced, low quality, and I believe to a certain extent dishonest.
