Comment: A crossdresser who quotes Eleanor Roosevelt?! From what perfect future did Lacey Leigh come?
I'm a big fan of Leigh's "Out & About" and this book takes off where that one left off. By using personal stories of her own path in becoming a successful crossdresser, Leigh ably demonstrates the key ideas for any crossdresser to rid himself of shame and the closet.
Leigh's advice for married CDs is especially appreciated by me (I'm the wife of a CD, myself), in that it explains - in positive terms - why wives need to know. All of us SOs of CDs may not be married to Lacey Leigh, but wow would our husbands do us a world of good by reading this book and putting some of Leigh's useful advice into effect!
Check the [edit] clothes at the closet door and come on out! Lacey Leigh has written the perfect guidebook for the CD to realize his life doesn't have to be about fear, secrecy, and shame.

Summary: A must read for the Crossdresser or SO that is tired of fear
Comment: Instead of whining about how society needs to accept Crossdressers, Lacey is out there setting an example for the rest of the Crossdressing community to follow. His book first outlines the distorted thinking that all too many Crossdressers fall into and then teaches the priciple that if you respect yourself, others will likely respect you as well. Also, he introduces the concept of ethics in regard to honesty with yourself and those around you. Throughout the book there are real life examples and techniques to ease into the mainstream of society while crossdressed. The style of the book is likely how Lacey approches life. Gentle, loving and strong.
