Summary: Better off surfing the net
Comment: While I have nothing against this book, it is out of date and kind of weird seeing it for sale. I know it's out of date because I bought the website from the author over a year ago... because the book was out of date. Anyway, if you'd like a lot of info about Tahoe and getting married there, the book's old website was tahoeweddings.com. Check it out.

Comment: I was very disappointed. It provided little if not any help in planning my wedding. One would be much better off just surfing the internet -- where I have found much more useful information. ....

Summary: Agree, it is out of date.
Comment: If you aren't planning a "chapel" wedding, but instead a church wedding it isn't much help since they don't even have a section on churches. The other disappointment was that there were only 3 official reception sites listed! Once again, unless you are planning an all inclusive type of wedding at a casino, chapel or hotel, this book isn't for you. I was expecting the book to present lots of options. The book did give us a place to start with real uncensored opinions from other couples. But I feel that a call to the Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce will provide you with as much and probably more up to date information as this book will.
