Summary: An excellent reference
Comment: This book provides an excellent summary of a number of pistols made in Czechoslovakia. It has decent photographs of pistols and some interesting historical shots of factories in the Czech Republic. They are all black and white, however, and on paper that is not particularly high-quality (I purchased my copy about 5 years ago and already it is a bit yellowed). But the book is certainly inexpensive, which offsets this issue.

In addition to documenting the mechanical features and differences between the pistols, it also covers the history of the producers, and differences in production during German occupation. Some of the sections are fairly short (e.g., the section on Dusek's Duo is only a few pages long), but it does seem to cover a large number of Czech and Slovakian pistols.

This book does not overlap much with other references on Czech firearms, and is thus a must-have for any collector of Czech pistols.
