Summary: Wonderful historical costuming book!!!
Comment: This book does a wonderful job, with both words and pictures, in describing how the royals like to dress up as well, for events like masked balls, and fetes. It uses period photographs, descriptions from participants, and newspaper articles to fill in a (to me) unknown facet of costuming. The pictures are LOVELY. Princess Alexandra, for example, resembles a "HMS Pinafore" Josephine quite uncannily.
