Summary: An Excellent Tool to Start Building
Comment: I purchased this book more than two years ago and basically set it aside. A year ago I picked it up again and asked my pastoral supervisor to lead the workshop that is laid out within the book. It was a powerful experience for six members of our small congregation plus myself. Those of us who participated the first time around will be leaders for repeats of the workshop and a multi-week class covering the same material.

There is more depth in this study than most if not all of the other studies of Spiritual Gifts, further developing the themes shaped in Willow Creek's "Network" and Church of the Resurrection's "Serving from the Heart", both of which I have also used. This depth lies in the related areas of Spirituality Types and Leadership/Interaction styles.

As mentioned above, the book includes a retreat/workshop plan and further resources are available at a website listed on the back cover of the book.
