Comment: I needed something to get me started and this book was just the thing. This book explains the principles clearly and simply and gives you just enough to get started and want to learn more.

Summary: This makes sense and it works
Comment: This is the first book on dieting that I have actually ever read past the third page. I read it from cover to cover in one sitting. Not only does the information make perfect sense, it works. I went from a size 10 to a size 4 in three months and I even cheated a little. I had started reading other information on low-carb diets, but most of it was so strict, I don't know how anyone with a family could stick to them. I am a true believer in this balanced way of low-carb eating. I have purchased about 10 of these books just to give out to friends. If you are serious about changing your eating habits permanently and maintaining your desired weight, this is a perfect place to start.
